Florida Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of its newest Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation location in south Orlando.

Located at 2519 S. Orange Ave., Florida Hospital Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation offers a unique care option for patients with common muscle sprains, strains, neck and back pain, and recurring injuries.

Patients can utilize the "Direct Access" program, which allows physical therapists to administer treatment without a physician referral for certain conditions and injuries. By going straight to physical therapy, the overall cost of care to the patients is reduced.

The community is invited to the official ribbon cutting at 4:30 p.m. April 26, followed by a grand opening celebration from 5 to 7 p.m.

Florida Hospital Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation has more than a dozen locations across Central Florida.
