1949 - Dr H. Sherman Lawrence determined that an immune response could be transferred from a donor to a recipient through a white blood cell extract. He concluded that the extract contained a factor capable of transferring the donor’s immunity information to the recipient and named the substance Transfer Factor.

What is Transfer Factor?

Transfer Factor is a vital immune factor brought to us directly from Mother Nature. It is found in every mammal on earth. Transfer Factors are messaging molecules that convey information within an animal’s immune system, as well as transferring immune information from one animal or person, to another via blood transfusion or breast feeding. This is in fact, how it got its name, “transfer factor”.

Every mother that breastfeeds her infant passes on her immunity, including much of the information the immune system has gained in her lifetime. This process begins with the first milk, colostrum. There are many things in colostrum, but the most valuable of the “immunity weapons” in colostrum are called transfer factors.

4Life Transfer Factor™ and Transfer Factor Plus™ were tested for their ability to increase Natural Killer Cell (NK) activity by killing live cancer cells. The research used peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) isolated from human volunteers. Test results showed that 4Life Transfer Factor™ increased the NK cell activity 103% above immune response without supplementation, more than two times higher than the next highest product. The study also showed that Transfer Factor Plus™ increase the NK cell Activity 248% above normal immune response without supplementation, or about five times higher than any of the other previously tested products.
