Orlando Health Announces Three New Executives

Orlando Health announced three new executives have joined the organization.

Melissa Payne is the new Corporate Director of Food and Nutritional Services. Most recently, Payne served as a clinical nutrition manager for Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center and Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital. The role required her to oversee clinical nutrition processes, develop standards of care and assess staff competency. She was responsible for all aspects of business, which included developing and managing operational budgets and ensuring business models met performance goals.

Payne previously served as a clinical dietitian for Orlando Health. In 2015, she received an award from Orlando Health for Excellence in Allied Health Clinical Leadership. Other leadership positions Payne has held include President-Elect of the Florida Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, professional development committee member of the Clinical Nutrition Managers Practice Group for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and Class 27 member of Leadership Seminole.

Justin R. Williams is the new Chief Operating Officer for Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Mr. Williams has had more than 14 years of experience in finance, strategic planning, and hospital operations. Prior to taking this position, he was Director of Operations at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. He was responsible for the growth and operational oversight of multiple service lines, which included the Pediatric Heart Center, Pediatric GI and Endoscopy, Pediatric Dentistry and the Zagara's Ambulatory Specialty Clinic. Mr. Williams' accomplishments include leading the design, construction and operational transition of a dedicated Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown Unit and two Hybrid Operating Rooms. He has a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a B.B.A. in Accounting from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.

Jessica M. Nelson is the new Corporate Director of Benefits. She will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of Orlando Health's health and welfare benefits plans, programs, and procedures. Previously, Nelson served as the Benefits Director for Foot Locker for nearly two years. She was responsible for the execution of Benefits Delivery For the United States and Canada. The responsibilities Nelson will assume in her new role as Corporate Director of Benefits includes overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of Orlando Health's health and welfare benefits plans, programs, and procedures. She has an M.B.A. and a B.B.A. from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
