Thousands of Nurses to Convene in Orlando to Address Health Care Practices and Innovation

Orlando is hosting more than 2,200 influential nursing professionals from across the country for two co-located conferences focused on innovation, quality and nursing excellence next week. The American Nurses Credentialing Center Pathway to Excellence Conference® and the American Nurses Association Quality and Innovation Conference for the first time ever will come under one roof at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, April 24-26 in Orlando, Fla. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to connect with peers and experts to translate ideas that can help create positive practice environments and powerful solutions to transform health care and nursing.

Brett Culp, acclaimed filmmaker and speaker, will share how to leverage opportunity and capacity to embrace leadership and make an impact on Wednesday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m.

Windermere, Fla.-based Simon T. Bailey, break-through strategist and best-selling author, will discuss how to use natural talents, gifts and purpose to transform health care on Thursday, April 25 at 8:30 a.m.

Robin Farmanfarmaian, career coach and entrepreneur, will share how technology enables health care consumers to be decision-makers on the care team on Thursday, April 25 at 1:00 p.m.

Nick Tasler, best-selling author and internationally acclaimed speaker, will talk about Mastering and overcoming the fear of change on Thursday, April 25 at 11:45 a.m.

Conference Highlights:

NursePitch™, six contestants will pitch their products and ideas LIVE to a team of experts for the chance to win a cash prize on Friday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
