In its latest version of a bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act, the GOP has once again found itself short of passage and will not to bring the bill up for consideration.

Senators Lindsey Graham and Bill Cassidy have pulled the bill, but Graham said he would bring another version to eventually replace the ACA.

"We don't have the votes," Cassidy said. "Since we don't have the votes, we'll postpone that vote."

Holdout Republicans included Senators John McCain, Susan Collins and Rand Paul.

The GOP could afford to lose only two votes to pass the bill by simple majority in time for budget reconciliation by the Sept. 30 deadline.
