Oviedo Medical Center recently broke ground on "Baldwin Park ER," its freestanding emergency room located near Baldwin Park. Slated to open in early 2019, the full-service emergency room will provide 24/7 care for both pediatric and adult patients. Located on a 3.4-acre site, the 10,358-square-foot, one-story facility is expected to serve more than 10,000 Orange County residents a year. The $9.7 million project will feature 12 private patient care rooms and will employ full-time staff members as well as emergency medicine physicians.
