Orlando Health has entered into a contract with Orlando Beltway Associates - Plymouth Sorrento LLC for the purchase of approximately 51 acres in Apopka. The property lies west of S.R. 429 and north of Kelly Park Road with a physical address listed as 5401 Effie Drive, Apopka, FL.

"We are excited about the opportunity for Orlando Health to serve the health and wellness needs of the Apopka and Mt. Dora communities," said Matt Taylor, AICP, vice president of asset strategy for Orlando Health. "While no specific plans can be shared yet, the site is envisioned to be the future home of a medical campus to serve local residents and employees of the Kelly Park Interchange Employment District and broader regional healthcare needs."

The transaction is expected to close this fall. At this time, the purchase price is not being disclosed.
