Orlando Health Welcomes New Vice President, Quality and Clinical Transformation

Orlando Health is pleased to announce George Ralls, MD is transitioning to the vice president, Quality and Clinical Transformation position. In this new leadership role, Dr. Ralls will be responsible for working with senior leadership and physicians to deliver enhanced patient safety and quality medical care across Orlando Health.

 

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Ralls to his new position within Orlando Health,” said Jamal Hakim, MD, chief operating officer at Orlando Health. “Dr. Ralls has an extensive track record of leadership and impressive accolades that showcase his ability. We look forward to his leadership as we strive to deliver on our vision of excellence.”

 

Previously, Dr. Ralls served as chief quality officer Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center and as an emergency medicine physician. Prior to joining Orlando Health, Dr. Ralls was the deputy county administrator and director of health and public safety for Orange County. There, he provided leadership for the county’s corrections, fire rescue and health services departments.

Dr. Ralls earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his emergency medicine residency training at Orlando Health ORMC. George is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American Association of Physician Leadership and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
