Diana Moldoveanu, MD., Internal Medicine, has joined  Primary Care Center at Lake Mary, an affiliate of Central Florida Regional Hospital and HCA Healthcare North Florida Division – Orlando Market.  Dr. Moldoveanu provides primary care for adults with a special focus on chronic medical issues and the geriatric population.

“As an internist, I am responsible, first and foremost, for helping my patients maintain optimal health to prevent the onset of disease, like diabetes and heart disease,” Dr. Moldoveanu said. “It’s one thing be a doctor, but it’s another to be a caregiver. I believe in caring for patients as if I’m caring for my own family – with love, compassion and thoroughness.”

“We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Moldoveanu to the HCA Healthcare family,” said Trey Abshier, CEO at Central Florida Regional Hospital. “With high standards of medical care and the ability to form strong patient relationships based on trust and experience, she’s an excellent resource in promoting the long-term health of Central Florida’s adult and aging populations."

Dr. Moldoveanu received a graduate degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in her hometown of Bucharest, Romania. She completed her internship and residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She is fluent in English, Romanian and French.
