Orlando VA to Hold Walk-In COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic for Certain Veterans who Receive Care at VA

The Orlando VA is holding COVID-19 vaccination clinics on Saturday, January 16, 2021 and Monday, January 18, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Orlando VA Medical Center located at 13800 Veterans Way Orlando, FL 32827 for certain Veterans based on CDC and VHA guidelines. Veterans must receive care in VA and there is no cost to get the vaccine. Veterans will receive the Pfizer vaccine.

 

  • Veterans aged 75 years and older

 

  • Eligible, enrolled Veterans that receive care at the VA aged 18 and older and are employed as fire fighters, police officers, corrections officers, food and agricultural workers, United States Postal Service workers, manufacturing workers, grocery store workers, public transit workers, and those who work in the educational sector (teachers, support staff, and daycare workers)and who have not yet received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine are eligible to receive the vaccine at no cost. Please bring identification or documentation that you are employed in one of these categories.

 

The vaccination clinic is located on the fourth-floor auditorium. Veterans must be enrolled and eligible for VA health care benefits. Veterans must be able to return to Lake Nona for a second dose in 21 days.  

 

Vaccines will be available for walk-ins or by appointment, as supply allows. Appointments are not required.
