Digital Pill Company etectRx Selects Biotech Vet VP as of Product Management

Digital health company, etectRx, Inc. recently announced Adam Standley as vice president of product management. In his new role, Standley’s main responsibility is setting the direction for the etectRx digital pill ID-Cap SystemStandley’s onboarding aligns with recent etectRx partnerships with other digital health providers working toward providing solutions for medication adherence. 

Standley is a Brown University graduate in aerospace engineering, innovation management and entrepreneurship. He brings a deep background in product development for drug delivery, biosensing, and combination products to etectRxAs vice president of product management, he will chart the course for the FDA cleared ID-Cap System that uniquely addresses the issue of patient adherence to oral medication and allows clinicians to monitor medication adherence remotely. He enters etectRx as the company explores the importance of utilizing its technology in Use Cases to unequivocally confirm adherence for pharma clinical trial successHe will also be tasked with ensuring seamless ID-Cap System data management and integration across the healthcare ecosystem.  

Prior to joining etectRxStandley served as the senior director of product development for biotech company Windgap Medical, Inc. In this role, Standley led the design and development of a novel combination product and secured a contract with the National Institute of Health to develop a cyanide antidote autoinjector. He spearheaded development of a global supply chain for cGMP device and drug manufacturing, including injection molding, assembly, drug sourcing, and powder and liquid fill-finish of a combination product. Standley’s early career focused on developing advanced materials for startups in applications ranging from photovoltaic energy harvesting and nanowire battery technologies, to wearable electronics for biosensing applications
