Wharton-Smith Construction Group is pleased to welcome Bryan Bernardo to the Wharton-Smith team as Project Executive – Central Florida Commercial Division, reporting to Darin Crafton, Executive Vice President-Commercial.

Mr. Bernardo brings over 30 years of construction project management and leadership experience across the senior living, multi-family, and other commercial markets. In his new role, Mr. Bernardo will lead Wharton-Smith’s continued efforts to serve their growing business of senior living projects throughout the United States. In alignment with Wharton-Smith's strategic plan, he will be involved in business development, process improvement, and developing a team committed to building the senior living sector of Wharton-Smith.

“Bryan will provide overall leadership and direction for senior living market sector operations to deliver profitability and strategic growth in this market. He is passionate about working through the construction process. He will drive strategy, create financial viability, and incorporate the Wharton-Smith way into the future of the senior living market,” said Darin Crafton, Executive Vice President - Commercial.

Mr. Bernardo is a licensed general contractor in Florida, California, Nevada, and New Mexico. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and holds a bachelor's degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida.

Mr. Bernardo grew up in Central Florida where he was raised by two generations of builders. He has two sons and enjoys traveling and scuba diving with his children and wife.
