Axiom Bank would like to express its sincere gratitude to the community for supporting the organization’s hunger relief initiative during Hunger Action Month in September.

The Maitland-based community bank hosted a food and fund drive between Sept. 3 and Oct. 3 to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and Feeding Tampa Bay.

During the monthlong campaign, more than 1,000 non-perishable food items were dropped off at Axiom branch locations, and enough money was donated to provide more than 1,200 meals.
