Florida Wound Care Doctors is proud to announce the opening of Orlando Wound Institute, Central Florida's ?rst independent, full-service wound care and hyperbaric center. Orlando Wound Institute seeks to increase access to quality wound care for those su?ering from nonhealing wounds in Central Florida.

Services o?ered at Orlando Wound Institute include but are not limited to: hyperbaric oxygen therapy, vascular testing, customized diabetic foot o?oading, total contact casting, support surface evaluation, edema management therapies, nutritional support, comprehensive local wound care, advanced cellular therapies and patient/caregiver educational support. Additionally, participation in clinical research allows Orlando Wound Institute to employ cutting-edge technologies while supporting the advancement of science in wound healing.

Orlando Wound Institute seeks to serve patients who will bene?t from specialized wound care. These include people with conditions such as diabetes, poor blood ?ow, problems with swelling or other chronic conditions, who are particularly at risk for delayed wound healing; however, anyone with a wound that is not healing properly can bene?t from specialized wound care. Early intervention by a wound specialist helps prevent serious complications such as infection and amputation and restores quality of life to those who su?er from wounds.
