OMNI Healthcare President and CEO Dr. Craig Deligdish will be discussing the recent Covid-19 surge at a press conference to be held at the OMNI Healthcare headquarters, located at 1344 S. Apollo Blvd., Suite 406 in Melbourne on Friday, January 7 at 1 p.m. Dr. Deligdish will discuss Covid-19 testing and current treatments at OMNI Healthcare and will be available to answer questions regarding the recent surge in Covid-19 cases, the Omicron variant and its challenges.

  •  OMNI Healthcare currently offers Covid-19 rapid and PCR testing at its offices throughout Brevard County, Monday through Friday.
  • The physician group also offers Covid-19 vaccine at its offices as well as its walk-in vaccination clinic in Melbourne Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1344 South Apollo Blvd. in Suite 303.

  • Testing and vaccine administration are also available at OMNI’s main location at 1344 South Apollo Blvd. in Melbourne in Suite 2C from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays and Sundays.

OMNI Healthcare also plans to offer monoclonal antibody (mAb) treatments as well. Monoclonal treatments are helpful for people who are at risk for serious Covid-19 infection and have tested positive for the virus or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive. The mAb treatment can block the SARS-CoV-2 virus (the virus that causes COVID-19) from entering the body’s cells and limit the amount of the virus within your body. This may result in milder symptoms and may decrease the likelihood of a hospital stay.

The mAb treatment may help people who:

  • Are at high risk of getting more serious symptoms and
  • Have a positive Covid-19 test with symptoms for 10 days or less or
  • Have been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive
