"Day of Caring" is part of Florida Hospital's (soon to be AdventHealth) larger "Week of Caring," which kicked off Nov. 9 with a free community concert featuring three-time Grammy Award-winner Christian artist Michael W. Smith.

Guests were encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to support Second Harvest Food Bank. More than 600 pounds of food were collected.

Also, during "Week of Caring," team members at Florida Hospital Altamonte and Celebration Health packed more than 50,000 meals, which were donated to local organizations that fight hunger.
