These agreements are geared towards improving the accessibility and coordination of healthcare services for residents in Florida.

Operating seven days a week, Walmart’s health centers offer a diverse array of services, including labs, primary care, x-rays, EKG, dental, behavioral health, and select specialty services, complemented by telehealth options. In collaboration with Ambetter Health, members of the Ambetter Value Plan in specified Florida counties now have the advantage of accessing care coordination and referral management services at Walmart Centers as preferred providers.

In a groundbreaking development, Walmart and Orlando Health are joining forces to optimize care coordination services for Orlando residents. Rapid Expansion

Since its establishment in 2019, Walmart Health has experienced rapid expansion, currently operating 23 health centers in Florida alone. The company has ambitious plans to exceed 75 health centers nationwide by the close of 2024. In a strategic move last year, Walmart acquired the telehealth company MeMD, subsequently rebranding it as Virtual Care. Furthermore, Walmart's decade-long partnership with UnitedHealthcare underscores its dedication to delivering enhanced healthcare solutions, including analytics and decision support tools, to seniors and Medicare beneficiaries within Medicare Advantage plans in Florida and Georgia.
