Cornerstone Hospice's Paula Loats to Make Presentation to 2019 Florida Nurses Association Assembly

.Tavares - Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care's Clinical Liaison Educator Paula Loats, RN, BS, MBA, CCDS will present "Improving the Quality of Care for Cardiac Patients" at the upcoming 2019 Florida Nurses Association Membership Assembly in Howey-in-the-Hills, on Friday, September 13.

The burden of heart failure on the healthcare system is growing. Loats will discuss the challenges of caring for an end stage cardiac patient and will address the benefits of palliative care for improved outcomes and enhanced quality of life.

Loats began her nursing career more than 32 years ago and has practiced in many specialties. As Cornerstone Hospice's clinical liaison educator, Loats educates Central Florida medical organizations about the need for appropriate patient care at the end of life.
